Course Description

Bringing Yoga to Life for Young Children

Yoga is more than physical postures. It is a holistic practice that can nurture self-awareness, compassion, emotional balance, and a deeper connection with the world.

This experiential course explores how the eight limbs of Astaunga Yoga can be adapted into engaging, age-appropriate experiences for children ages 3–10.

Through creative movement, breathing exercises, storytelling, music, art, meditation, and interactive activities, participants will discover practical ways to introduce yoga into children's everyday lives.

Rooted in Neohumanist philosophy, the course encourages children to develop kindness toward themselves, others, animals, plants, and the natural world.

Whether you're a parent, educator, yoga teacher, or simply someone who enjoys working with children, this course offers practical tools and creative inspiration, no previous experience required.
